| a perfect birthday present for a friend: a purple brooch |
Who on earth doesn't like to get presents? I think anyone does;
me unexceptional. But I love giving
presents to my friends and family as much as I get some from them; a birthday celebration, a wedding, a baby
shower, a farewell, any kind of special occasion. And so far I do not have significant
problem in finding a prefect give for them. But the thing is sometimes most of
us are clueless in what kind of presents we are going to give.
I guess (based on my experience), these are few things to be considered
in giving someone a present.
How close you are with the people you are giving a present
to determine the level of difficulties in finding them a perfect give. Usually the closer you are with them the
easier you can get a perfect give for them. If you are close enough, you can give
something has to do with their hobbies, their favorite things or color. Like what
I did recently in giving my friend a birthday present. As I know she is a huge
fan of something purple and she also wears veil, so I simply looked for a
purple brooch. And no doubt, she was blown away by it :-).

If you are not close enough, such as giving a wedding gift for a colleague
in your office where most people nowadays for practical reason simply giving
cash money while you don’t want to do that but still looking for a gift. Well,
you can find for a thing based on its functionality. It can never go wrong.
Like giving a toaster, blender, juicer, or any other home appliances, we know
for sure those kinds of things are going to be useful.
Or if you are a creative person who has a good taste in art,
you can create a present by your own. I
have ever got poems, a short story, a painting on my birthdays as presents which
I think very personal and priceless that can never value with money.
There are some tips for you from me and I hope they can enlighten you
in hunting a perfect present for your loved ones. Good luck!
